The Greenock Philosophical Society talk this Friday is "Training for the Ministry" by William Boyle. Details here: Talks are normally held in the Watt Hall of the McLean Museum, but we've moved to Zoom during the pandemic. These Zoom talks are normally for members only, but we'd like to extend the invite to you this week, since the topic is likely to be of particular interest to your congregation. We have a limited number of Zoom places available, and members must be able to join, so we can't share the Zoom link in public, and we must ask everyone not to share it. If you would like to take us up on this free sample of a PhilSoc talk, please email us on greenockphilsoc@aol.com to ask for the Zoom link. There is no obligation for you to join the PhilSoc (it's £10 annual membership, with around 8 talks Oct-Dec and 6 Jan-Feb annually), but if you email us, we will email you in October to invite you to join (unless you say otherwise). |
